"Take the bloody shot"

Skyfall, the twenty third movie from a successful series of books, is looking good. Really good. But will Bond rise, or fall?

Daniel Craig plays the eponymous Bond, a Loyal MI6 employee, who gets shot. The man, who has evaded more bullets than someone from the East End of London, gets shot, in the mountainous regions of France and ‘dies’

Dame Judi Dench, that wonderful woman, is back to her role of the rather (un)mysterious M, who orders James’ death, by a mysterious sniper. The MI6 is blatantly mysterious. Then it blows up. Catastrophically!

Javier Bardem is the ‘baddie’ in this film, a Russian, middle aged man who slightly resembles Boris Johnson. He seems to know James Bond’s newfound hatred for M, and seems to use this to his advantage.
Then there’s all the action, and I have to say, this film looks pretty amazing. For all you people who crave Michael Bay’s Pyrotechnics, they’re as good as ever. Fights on top of trains; trains crashing through the subways of London; MI6 Exploding and Blonde Russians threatening secret agents for world domination. And of course, an integral part of any Spy Film, all the sexy women. It’s going to be a thriller, and I’m not talking about the Michael Jackson song.

Skyfall is released on the 26th October 2012, and I’d say, give it a watch, it’s going to be a good 2 hours.
